Middle and High School Students Learning, Building, and Competing in Robotics
We are FTC Team #30570, part of the Texas 4-H Robotics Club in Flower Mound, Texas. Our mission is to inspire and empower middle and high school students through hands-on robotics and STEM education while building skills in engineering, programming, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.
Through our robotics program and community outreach, we share STEM experiences with more than 500 students, encouraging curiosity, innovation, and interest in future STEM opportunities. Your support helps us continue this mission.

Our rookie season
The Techs Mechs 4-H Club made an impressive debut in the FIRST Tech Challenge! This team of six dedicated members earned the All-Star Rookie Judge’s Choice Award at their league tournament, advanced to Semi-Regionals as the only middle school rookie team among 13 rookie teams from Flower Mound, and received a grant from the Gene Haas Foundation to support their robotics program.
At Semi-Regionals, the team also earned the Reach Award for their efforts to promote robotics and inspire others to get involved in STEM.

Returning teammates help new members learn by working together on the robot. New team members get hands-on practice with assembly, electronics, and programming while building confidence and sharing ideas.
Your support helps us inspire students through hands-on robotics, build skills for the future, and share STEM experiences with more than 500 students.

Thank you to the organizations supporting our team.
Through our outreach, we have shared hands-on STEM experiences with more than 500 students. We love inviting people to try driving or operating our robot: the excitement of making it move can spark curiosity in kids and adults alike. Every conversation is a chance to show that engineering and robotics are for everyone.
At Hilton Kids Day, we introduced young visitors to robotics, explained how our robot works, and encouraged them to try it for themselves. Hands-on demos brought kids and adults together to ask questions, experiment, and imagine what they could build.
Connecting FIRST LEGO League (FLL) students with FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) helps them see a path to keep learning and building. This bridge also supports succession planning: welcoming and onboarding future team members, sharing experience, and maintaining continuity as students move on.
